Cookie policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

This page explains which cookies roadguardsolutions.com uses, what each one does, and how to change your mind. It covers this website only.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others record how the site is used, or let a service recognise you when you come back.

Your choice comes first

We set no analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them. When you first visit, a notice asks you to choose. If you decline, nothing beyond the strictly necessary is loaded. If you accepted earlier and then change your mind, we stop the tracking straight away and delete the cookies set on this website's own domain.

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link, which reopens the notice.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to function and are not optional. They do not track you.

Analytics — only after you accept

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which sections they read, and where they arrived from. We use this to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Google acts as our processor for this data. See Google's privacy information for businesses.

Advertising — only after you accept

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag. If you accept, it lets us see which companies visit the site, and lets us show LinkedIn ads to people who have been here. LinkedIn recognises visitors who are signed in to LinkedIn in the same browser. We never see individual visitors' names: LinkedIn reports this to us only in aggregate.

LinkedIn maintains the authoritative list of these cookies and their durations in its cookie table. Some are set on LinkedIn's own domain rather than ours.

Cookies we do not use

To be explicit, because generic cookie notices often claim otherwise: this site sets no social media sharing cookies, and we do not sell visitor data or share it with advertising networks beyond LinkedIn as described above.

If that changes, this page will be updated and you will be asked to choose again before anything new is set.

Withdrawing consent

If you decline, or change your mind later, we remove the cookies set on this website's own domain. Cookies that Google or LinkedIn set on their own domains are outside our control from this site; you can clear those in your browser settings, and LinkedIn members can also adjust ad settings in their LinkedIn account.

Other requests your browser makes

When you use the contact form, your message is delivered through Web3Forms, which processes the details you type in order to email them to us. This happens only when you submit the form, and sets no cookies.

Turning cookies off in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, independently of the choice you make here. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of some websites working.
