Privacy statement

Last updated: 21 July 2026

This statement explains what happens to personal data collected through roadguardsolutions.com. It covers this website only, not our products or services under contract.

Who is responsible

IMBU B.V. is the controller for the data described here.

  • IMBU B.V., Industriestraat 8, 6827BD Arnhem, The Netherlands
  • info@imbu.nl
  • +31 6 320 691 98

What we collect, and why

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. We use these only to answer you and, if it leads somewhere, to continue the conversation about our products. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries we receive.

Messages are delivered to us through Web3Forms, which acts as our processor for that delivery.

We keep enquiry emails for 24 months after our last contact with you, and then delete them.

When you accept analytics cookies

If you accept, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and how you arrived. We use it to understand what people find useful. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Nothing is collected if you decline.

Full detail of each cookie is in our cookie policy.

When you accept advertising cookies

If you accept, the LinkedIn Insight Tag reports your visit to LinkedIn. Where you are signed in to LinkedIn in the same browser, LinkedIn can recognise you and tells us, in aggregate only, which companies and job functions have visited. It also allows us to show LinkedIn ads to people who have visited this site. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Nothing is sent if you decline.

Server logs

The web server records standard access logs, including IP addresses, as part of operating and securing the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. These logs are kept for up to four weeks and then deleted.

The site runs on infrastructure we operate ourselves in our own Amazon Web Services account, hosted in Amazon's Ireland region. Your data therefore stays within the European Economic Area, and no transfer to a third country takes place for hosting.

Who else sees your data

We share personal data only with:

  • Google, for website analytics, and only if you accepted
  • LinkedIn, for company-level visitor reporting and advertising, and only if you accepted
  • Web3Forms, to deliver contact form messages to us
  • Amazon Web Services, which provides the infrastructure the site runs on

We do not sell personal data. Beyond LinkedIn, described above and only with your consent, we do not share it with advertising networks.

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
  • correct anything inaccurate
  • delete your data
  • restrict how we use it, or object to our using it
  • transfer it to another organisation
  • withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time

Write to info@imbu.nl and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes to this statement

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date above. Where the change affects cookies you consented to, you will be asked to choose again.
